House is fine, but no electricity. Now I'm a refugee @ a friends sucking up electricity & internet. More when normal is returned......

I was fortunate not have any wind damage at my house. I have electricity, water, and gas. Some neighbors had their whole fence down. Windows broken in most buildings where I work. As I went to work I had to stop at every intersection since all signals were not working. Some signals were even missing and dangling down. They say it is going to take 3 to 4 weeks to fix them all. Yikes!
Everywhere you turn there is a tree down. It is sad to see.
I was sleeping when the hurricane passed thru. I live in katy so the stores are not that bad but the gas is limited and people are coming from all over houston to Katy for refuge.
Yesterday I went to Memorial Park where I run, I saw people running.. they cleared path for the runners. Cleanup is underway. I have some cleanup to do, but its mainly leaves on my driveway, sidewalk.
